BACKGROUND:
It is recorded that Valdepeňas was one of the first regions in Spain to cultivate the wine grape. In the early 13th Century, the Knights of Santiago were established with responsibility for the care and protection of the vine. The Airen grape has flourished here ever since.

This wine can be drunk on its own or as a partner for light salads, fish and tapas.
