BACKGROUND:
In 1952 Ernesto “Che” Guevara ventured on a magical journey through the wilderness of Chile on his precious Norton 500 which he nicknamed ‘La Poderosa’ – the powerful one. The journey was immortalised by the film Motorcycle Diaries.
50 years on Chile lays claim to being the most dynamic wine region on earth. With the vineyards having been planted in the hot dusty tracks of the fertile valleys the quality of wine is now leaving its imprint on the palates of discerning wine drinkers everywhere. La Poderosa is a stunning example of the new wines coming from this region.
