BACKGROUND:
Grapes for this Merlot were selected from some of the best growing regions in California. Warm sunny days provide optimum grape ripening with cooler night temperatures lifting acidity
After harvest, the fruit was handled gently and fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fully fruit flavours in the grapes. The individual lots were kept separate according to their respective growing areas, and blended to balance the fruit flavours with the crispness and structure of the grapes
