OLD VINE GARNACHA
Intense ruby red with purple highlights
Lifted perfumed aromas of violets and fresh fruit
Lush blackberry and cherry flavours cram the mid palate with an underlying spicy pepperiness that delivers a punch of juiciness that will leave the palate stunned.
This wine will improve with a further two to three years of bottle ageing.
The gnarly old bush vines that bear the precious fruit that go to make this delicious wine were planted up to 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Struggling to survive in dusty, dry slate soils at an altitude of 1000 metres they have the ability to produce this amazing wine.
Perfect partner to roast meats, casseroles and various cheeses.
