NERO D’AVOLA 80%, SYRAH 20%

COLOUR:

Deep ruby red with violet highlights.

AROMAS:

The bouquet is slightly spicy and fruity with aromas of tobacco, blackberries, blueberries and mulberries.

PALATE:

Ripe fruity flavours of cherries and plums with rounded tannins.

AGEING POTENTIAL:

This wine has been made to be enjoyed when youthful and fresh.

BACKGROUND:

A full bodied wine made from one of the Sicily’s most famous red grape varieties Nero D’Avola.

FOOD MATCH:

Ideal with pasta, barbeques and most red meat dishes.  It is especially good with spicy sauce accompanying grilled food.
